The Wright State Computing and Telecommunications Services (CaTS) supports and distributes Microsoft Office software. So, many online classes exchange Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Exel files.

You can often get by with other word processing programs. Most can save and read documents in Microsoft Word format. Or you may be able to save your files in Rich Text Format (.rtf), which is support by nearly all word processors. Check with your instructor.

Virus protection

Students exchange files in many online classes. Protect your computer and others’ with up-to-date anti-virus software.
